A recent article from realtor.com outlined some of the best (and most affordable!) fall design trends for 2024, including:

• Palm leaves. New Orleans-style design is having a serious moment this fall. And if you want to hop on the trend in a way that has a major impact, but doesn’t break the bank, try a palm leaf print. This print works as either a focal point (for example, wallpaper) or accent (like frame art), and looks best paired with other jazz-inspired design touches, like brass accents.
• Deep ruby. Every season sees a new color reign supreme, and this fall, that color is deep ruby. This rich shade of ruby red adds warmth and sophistication to a space, and also ups the cozy factor, which is perfect for fall. Consider painting an accent wall in your bedroom, or, for a bolder look, paint your entire bathroom in a deep ruby shade.
• Texture. As mentioned, fall is all about feeling cozy. And this fall, one of the ways to add both coziness and visual interest to a room is to add texture. Throw some chunky knits, velvet, faux fur, or bouclé on a couch or bed, and voila… fall upgrade complete.
